Jay was onboarded at the democratic national committee as an instructional program designer in june 2024.

during their tenure, jay delivered elements of designed curricula (content, visuals, proctoring), trained members of the organization on how to effectively deliver instruction and become proctors, and hosted national trainings with ~1,000 attendees.

Jay led the building of a full day of training to summit youth to vote for kamala harris, tim walz, and democrats up and down the ballot. The Democratic National Committee and Harris for president hosted three youth summits, mobilizing more than 150 youth in battleground regions (West: NV, AZ; Northeast: PA, NH; SOuth: NC, GA). DNC and hfp were able to shift young people into more than 100,000 volunteer shifts between the summer of 2024 and the general election in november.

jay also led the building of campaign climate corps, a training series aimed at young people to inform them of the dangers of threats to our climate enacted by the previous federal administration (2017 – 2021), and posed by the former president of that administration. campaign climate corps expected to reach 250 climate activists, and the information provided by the training series was expected to shift volunteers into 250,000 – 500,000 shifts.

in addition, jay contributed to the building of over a dozen multi-stage training series, and ~100 individual training materials. The national organizing team of the 2024 victory coordinated campaign was responsible for shifting volunteers into over 20,000,000 shifts between the summer of 2024 and the general election in november, including 100,000 shifts in pennsylvania on the morning of the general election alone.
